I give the dealer an "A+". Our salesman, Dave Marquardt, went above and beyond and we give him an "A+", too. We did 99% of the transaction via e-mail - which is exactly what I wanted. I e-mailed Dave the exact Murano, including the VIN and a picture of it (I found the car online via the Nissanusa.com website) that we wanted to buy, including an American Express printout of the price I wanted to pay. We went back and forth with a few e-mails and he called me with the OTD price. Actually the OTD price ended up being less then my price as I goofed by not including destination charges. So, I am happy with the price. Leslie (My wife) and I got in the car and drove 83 miles to Anderson Nissan to buy the Murano. Many would say why not go to a dealer closer. Well, we bought it on September 4th and Anderson had the only 'Pearl White' left in the region, maybe the whole midwest (we are in Northern Illinois). So, we get to the dealer, fill out the paperwork very quickly, and left. All is good! But there is more: 1) Anderson filled the tank up and I did not expect that, 2) the car was very clean and I did expect that, 3) It turns out that we ended up paying less then the expected OTD price because the tax rate was 0.75% less then our local rate (Pete Malecke, the Finance Manager, took the time to research and verify the state rules applied correctly), and 4) a few days later when I needed specific documentation to get plates for the car we had plates transfered from (to the new car), Maureen Risch came through with flying colors (again via e-mail). By the way, the sales manager (I forgot his name) said 'thank you' to us while we were filling out the paperwork. He seemed like a nice guy, too.
All in all - an "A+".

Dave by far was the best salesman I have ever purchased a vehicle from, he will be my salesman the next time I purchase a vehicle. He made it easy and was so patient with us, we just could not make up our minds on what we wanted and he was so patient so we could test drive nearly everything on the showroom. I had an excellent experience at this dealership!! The second I walked in the door, I was greated with smiles, and not bombarded with questions and pushy salesmen. Brad Ferwerda was very professional and knowledgeable. He was honest and to the point when questioned. Upon entering the lot you are approached by a seemingly genuine, non-eager sales associate. From the time of entrance they are really there to help you and get you taken care of. It is nice to look at new cars with employees that know a good deal about the car. It would seem as if they had a care for the products they are selling and not just the care of the sale. My daughter was looking for a vehicle. She had just been in an accident and her car was totaled. We were greated by Brad Ferwerda. Right off the bat, I advised him that she would not be able to come up with a cosigner, and because of my past experiences with dealers, did not feel that he would be able to help her. Brad spent some time with her, asking what her preferences were in finding the right car for her. He only seemed postitive that he would be able to help her. Before we knew it...we were test driving a Jeep. This was the day that a tornado touched down, and we were literally 1/2 mile away from it when it hit. When we got back to the dealership, all the lights were out, tornado sirens were going off and Brad assured us that everything was going to be OK. We had to postpone the paperwork, since all the computers were down. Brad needed my daughter to bring back some paperwork that was needed, once the power came back on. Brad came up with an idea for me to test drive a vehicle, since there was a time delay. I told him I was not in the maket to buy...still had 2 years left to pay on my car, and was a little upside down on the balance. Brad did not pressure me at all. Instead, he merely suggested that he may be able to put me in a new car, and explained all the advantages of a decision like that. In short, I ended up being a proud owner of a 2010 Nissan Altima. Brad Ferwerda took care of everything. It was his postive attitude about Anderson Nissan, the people he worked with and his knowledge of the vehicles themselves that sold me. Both myself and my daughter could not be happier with her decision to check out Anderson Nissan. Brad Ferwerda was a big factor in both of us getting our vehicles. This was the best dealership I've ever been to! My sales consultant was Brad Ferwerda. Brad, was able to discover my needs and was able to build value of the vehicle into our conversation. And I really appreciate the fact that I wasn't subjected to the typical high-pressure sales tactics. It was like night and day compared to the cyrstal lake M'lady nissan. The staff over at M'lady don't care about you as a person, unlike Anderson! I'm totally happy with new Altima that Brad was able to get me into at a unbelievable deal. Also, thanks to Baker (mgr) for getting me into a loaded Altima at a great price! The car was detailed and had a full tank of gas before I left. Paperwork was smooth and didn't take long. This is my very best experience at any dealership and I will continue to go through Anderson as well refer anybody that I know to come see these folks. This was my first major purchase. Just out of college and at my first job, I had parameters that needed to be met to stay within my budget. Brad worked deals alongside of Pete that not only met what I wanted for a monthly payment but also allowed me to get the premium warranty on my dream car! Brad was so friendly and helpful through the whole process. He even spent over a half hour synching my phone to my new car :) He has a great attitude and is very attentive to the customer. We first met Brad at the Cherryvale Mall Auto Show on February 18th. Even though he was very busy, he took the time to listen to us and said he had a new 2010 Altima Coupe he thought we would like. He followed up with a phone call, and we arranged to come in and see the Altima. We test drove the car on the 25th of February and purchased it the next day. Brad was extremely helpful and went out of his way to explain the many features of the car. Our car buying experience was very pleasant!

I had been looking for a used Ranger 4x4 and They had one . My credit was not so great and I thought just maybe I could get the help on a loan with easy payments. Nissan Anderson is located in Loves Park (Rockford), IL. These guys have an excellent selection of Nissan models and a few Infinitis on their lot. If they do not have it, they'll do everything in their power to procure it. I worked with Brad Ferwerda and the manager P.Baker ("Baker"). These gentlemen are class acts and straight shooters. They know how to EARN a sale. I had been in the market for a new car for some time. I happen to drive by the lot when a specific car caught my eye. I spoke with Brad and he spent a considerable amount of time with me making sure "I was getting exactly what I wanted before parting with my hard earned money (rendition of his words)." He took me out on several test drives and made sure I could see the full performance of the vehicles I was considering on open, winding, and hairpin roads. He is knowledgeable of the cars he sells, and knows the area well. So he is able to match up customers' needs and desires with ideal vehicles. He's a good salesman, and is not pushy. Baker is a funny guy that knows how to take care of the customer. He goes above and beyond,even after the sale has been made. Anyone who buys from these two gentlemen, can feel safe they are in good hands. I had shopped around all over ChicagoLand, Madison, and even Milwaukee. I told them what kind of offers with the VPP program I was getting, and I was advised by Baker that some dealers who make ridiculous claims and they cannot do what they say they will do. Sure enough, I learned those larger dealers cannot stand behind some of the BS they spout. Caveat Emptor! ("Let the Buyer Beware!"). One of the Madison, WI dealers tried the "bait-and-switch" tactic with me. Ultimately, I went back to Anderson, and back to Brad Ferwerda and the Baker man and wrapped up my dream car. These guys went above and beyond by detailing and prepping the car like it was ready for a show. I was extremely happy with the extra effort. If you are considering a Nissan (or other brands) I would highly encurage you to stop in at Anderson and ask for Brad Ferwerda, and then Baker. Tell them that Andy M. sent you and you'll be sure to get a great deal and great customer service after you pruchase.
